So managed to get all the wires soldered today, so no white connectors in passenger footwell anymore to get wet. Wondering if that is my main issue ? Anyhow, will try swap the driver when I get chance too and see what happens.

Do I need a white coat and one of those lamps in my head ???

Thanks Pete, when I looked at the spare driver pack it's hard connected to the pressure switch ( green ) under the block ? So need access to the bottom of it too ?? C

Yeah I just figured that out. 😖. Going to see if I can swap the driver pack out tomorrow. And then sometime in the new year rebuild the spare valve block with new 'o' rings etc. oh and solder the pesky white connector wires up too. See if that helps any

morning guys, so i have a couple of driver packs now spare.. I'm planning to change one.. and with ( hopefully ) some guidance from Datatek at some point, wanted to take one apart, look and maybe rebuild it ( possible another thread for us on that?).. however.. just run me over taking the old...

Is redex etc any good on an old Dse diesel ? Are there injector cleaner additives ??

hey guys, sorry, yep the error message was ' constantly high' as you say.. still need to try figure it out.. so will swap out the driver pack, and if not then maybe look for a replacement pressure switch ? im in no way tech ( or mechanically ) minded tbh, so bow to your expert knowledge...

Morning, well I will take a look, will have a replacement driver pack this week which I planned to have a look over connection wise / solder joints etc. then fit and see. So maybe then I need to look at the pressure switch ? And it a pump refurb ?

i read a thread that suggested they the 'over pressure' error message could be generated by bad driver pack on the EAS... have i understood wrong ?

hi all, yep.. i read the posts, and seams to be the driver pack ? has anyone replaced one.. and then fiddled about with the old one ? replaced anything ? re-soldered ? mine pops up a fault, and will drive about 200 miles before the dreaded 35mph mode.. i can reset with the unlock software.. and...

Sounds like a good plan tbh. Fixed it again as I said.. Pouring with rain and after only 5 miles. Back to fault status. I'm planning to replace the driver pack as you suggest incase the 'over pressure' fault is causing some of this too. Back to t-bay

mine was the plastic reservoir on top of the Rad... New rad fitted.. all sorted.. look for hairline cracks between the little ribs .. when it's warm you can press on them and a little water will seep. worth a look

afternoon, did you manage to fix the driver pack then ? had another fault with it today,9 pouring rain) and have figured out i have water getting someplace around the pollen filter ( i think ).. the white connectors behind the foot panel in the passenger side were soaked.. so have dried them...

Ahh ok. Well I will take a look. Let me know your findings and if there is something to look at especially. I can handle a soldering iron, so happy to have a go.

evening, agh ok... so no stress with the (35mph ) message then.. driver pack and connectors... is the driver pack inside the EAS box in the engine bay ? i will take a look and clean the connectors when i get home next weekend then and see if i can find a cause... anything i can do to the driver...

hi guys, ok so after a frustrating 2 hrs with my Old windows Laptop.. i finally got the thing to work, and Good comms with the OBD port and my beloved P38.. so.. faults.. vehicle moved ( we can discount that ). and ( i think because i forgot to write it down in the excitement).. an over...

Here's hoping that's my issue. And when I can clear the fault then everything works again. I only have Monday at home then away again... Dam work always getting in the way...
