Happened to mine. Although I couldn't hear the alarm as mine sounds like a drowned duck! Display kept telling me alarm triggered.

Drivers door lock thinks the doors open. Micro switch in the locks failed.

Put some bpr6e in. That's what's listed. I'm fairly confident that the 7es you had is 1.5 colder running than the 6e that should be in

Bad plugs. Pain in the ass to do again but before you do. Pull the leads one at a time with the motor running then you will see which one is causing the misfire. Be careful tho cos they can give a jolt ! Then replace the bad one. Did you change them by removing one lead at a time so there was...

Sounds like lack of fuel pressure. Don't spose you leaned on the fuse box when you changed the plugs. They're very problematical at a certain age and I'm wondering whether you have a bad connection/burnt relay. Just remember not to get sidetracked if it really was 100% before the work you did on it.

There are compression washers on the plugs but often feel soft when tightening up. Once they're compressed they feel "normal".

I don't think its fuel. Blocked is blocked. I would run it for a couple of days and go from there. Steve

They should be fine. Does it misfire when its running ? Tickover any lower?

What plugs did you use ?

Does anyone have a genuine range rover rubber mat passenger side in dark brown they can sell me. Would also consider a full set. Cheers Steve

Check the panel they disappear behind isn't restricting it. mine was holding the drivers side too tight.

The dash pod is powered by one large multi plug. Its probably just a poor/loose connection. May even be as simple as disconnecting then reconnecting the plug. Its easy to access. Download a copy of rave (do a search on here for a link) Steve

I sent my unit to clarion for them to fit an aux lead so I can use my ipod etc. great service and very quick turnaround. The best thing is, the car still looks standard unlike the pigs ear stereo that was in my last P38. Steve
