Maybe you can take the pictures a little further away? its very detailed but I can't see whats what without the other components on the picture. First you have to find out what line 'blows' and what line 'sucks'. Have you tried to google for pics of 'land rover series carburettor'?

question; is there also a vacuum hose from the brake? where does that lead to?

I would connect the carburettor to the air-inlet. See how it runs idle and smokes (or not)

now I think of it. There should be no suction at all on the oil fillerpipe. It is meant to take the overspill in oil from the engine. What if you connect the oilfillerpipe with the rockercover?

the smoke is burned oil. should stop after a little while..

the cap on top of the rockercover is normally attached to the crankcase-ventilation. are you sure there is not too much oil in it?

Oke thanks, I followed your advice. Also I used rivets in stead of screws; easier to take out when necessary

Since the plastic is made of oil..use an oily rag first and wipe it down afterwards. You'll be surprised

Can I use silicon-kit to put in the windows? Might have to get them out again once in the future..
