Well Ming, glad I found time to take your advise. Dropped prop shaft front and rear - strapped the ends of the shaft up - and took it for a spin. Couldn't say I noticed any difference! So, having isolated centre bearings and VCU and checked all uj's any ideas where am I now??? No oil leaks...

Hi all, Going to replace centre bearings on prop shaft soon and wondered if I will need any special tools (ie bearing extractor etc)? I have noise and vibration even on free wheel and I notice one bearing has slight side play. Anyone had experience of these. Thanks.

Acording to Rave there are two controls attached to the heater - air blend and air distribution - via cables and connectors. Worth taking a look to see if they are both functioning as you seem to have done everything else. Hope it helps.

Thanks All - no doubt there will be a few more issues with it than the 300 tdi Disco, which is still pretty much bulletproof and used most days still!
