Hi, check out the springs are not front to back . Plus the length of them. if you are still unsure, phone or check out web sites for liftkits plus sizes. ;). hope you fix it .
As above, upto 300,000 miles if well looked after. Then maybe re/con if ya can be botherd,?. :rolleyes:. Its the rust on the bodywork/chassis that hurts but thats not the end of em.;).
Hi, Richb1967, I would agree with Landyman. 300tdi maybe the way to go, spares reasonably priced and readily available. With a little know how and studying, fairly easy to work on but as they say if it ain't busted don't mess with it .Good luck with search an keep them saws sharp!!!.:D.
Hi Brian,an the Big lad . Prep work is the easy work , getting the black stuff in all the right places is the messy part. As Big lad,says it helps if you have got jet wash and ramps but wear hooded overalls as it gets bl***y everywhere. Nice weather helps but makes ya sweat more!!!. Ho hum the...
Just to say, i'm going to the black hole of waxoyl land,tomorrow:eek:. The 300tdi Disco never looked so clean [ underneath].Thankfully no major rust:D,so it does pay to keep um oyld. Ps, i'll keep an eye out for the yard cats. He He:)
Sounds, like maybe check wheel bearings and front prop uj's. Other than that check out, machanic questions for Landrovers . Unless other folks on forum have any further idea's to help with the problem. Cheers.

At the moment we have 235/85 r16 insa mud terrain tyres on,thinking on changing to enduro AT for general road use ,same size. any one else rate them,or not, as the case maybe? .Any other suggestions would be welcome thanks.still keeping the insa's for off roading though.:cool:
