    discovery 300tdi

P'raps i'm just lucky, but my 300 Tdi has just started with absolutely no hesitation whatsoever after sitting in a cold wet windy field for 3 weeks! Even i was amazed.

    Business web site address

One for one of the gaffers i suspect.;) I've recently set up a new business venture, and miraculously even set up my own web site to promote it  ...off roading related....but rather than just plunder ahead and put the link to it in me signature, me being dead courtious and well mannerd...

    Coverting from auto to manual?

Should diff lock engaged REALLY be neccessary to enable engine braking? Genuine question, and i'll certainly try it tomorrow. Only normally use it when i'm stuck tbh. Just noticed that CharlesY has mentioned using diff lock too! Is this where i've been going wrong i wonder...

    Coverting from auto to manual?

My Tdi 300 is a luvlee old tank. :p It's given me loads of the usual grief since purchase granted, but most of this have been sorted now. The only thing I really wish though, is WHY didn't i get a manual? Why? On reflection i simply rushed into the decision because it looked a...

    Anyone Running a TD5 on Veg ????

Quote button misbehavin' I see? ;) Anyway. To answer our friends original question. I really don't think you should use 100% veggy oil in ANY diesel tbh. Too damned thick, especially at this time of the year. As for the TD5, you might get away with about a 25% mix with bio. What do land Rover...

    Anyone Running a TD5 on Veg ????

85p a litre just 'arf a mile from here, lucky sod that I am.;) Not a TD5 granted, but my Tdi loves the bio, with a few liters of Asdas own vegy oil added too. Absolutely no problems whatsoever. In fact i'd say it's running smoother than ever tbh. Also running a PD130 engined 2005 Fabia Vrs...
