Looking at the wiriing diagrams fuse 14 in the BECM supplies power to the rear door actuators. Could be a start. I'd check the batteries in the key fob first. Wierd stuff this RF.

Your best bet is to get someone with a known working EAS cable and laptop to look at it before you start trying to find a problem that may not exist. You could end up creating more problems trying to fix somethinig that isn't broke.

Is it just the plastic clip that holds the glass in thats damaged? If so they can be bought from ebay for a couple of quid.

You just need to be able to get at either end of the cable, you don't need to remove them.

I noticed that it didn't have a MAF sensor either. Would imagine it to be a pain to remove that and EGR and get it to run so would say its came out of the factory like that.

It doesn't matter what colour cable goes where from your tester when measuring resistance of cables. Make sure you get a good contact at both ends and all being well you should read close to zero.

Could be warped discs. Maybe that at 50mph this is their resonant frequency where they vibate the most and you feel the vibration more at this particular speed.

I'd say it shows theres nothinig coming from the alternator to the battery. Worth checking that the alternator is turning and also the cables from it. These can corrode over time so worth setting your tester to ohms and measuring the resistance of the cable from the alternator to the battey and...

Sounds like the alternators not doing its job. As Griffdowg says there should be just over 14v with the engine running and the alternator working.

Hi bigp38. I'd suggest you download a copy of RAVE. That has the location of all the parts and some wiring diagrams so may help you with finding the cruise control module you're after. I think theres a link to it in one of the forums.

I'd imagine you should see oil on the piston as its a moving part and would have some form of lubrication as will pass through seals.
