I have decided not to get alloys but rather to paint my existing steel rims black.
Halfords satin black is the hardest wearing black I know of
Any other paints out there worth considering for the job
Wouldn't mind a metallic anthracite instead of black
Also any fancy centre caps out there but...
I got Wrangler All Weathers but I wasn't impressed with their handling in the recent snow.
To be fair 2 of them are not at their best but still legal.
Just spend a few hours looking at tyres and I think I go for General Grabber HTS for the next set in 225/70/15
ATs look better but I don't...
Especially if you use it as a a work van
Bought mine cos i wanted a van and something to get me in and out of a field if the need arises as I do a bit of shooting.
Didn't know what a landrover bodykit looked like so i googled it and also come across this

Compared to that the corrugated iron look is great
Talk about aweful
I bought one recently and it isn't connecting to mine
Works on the missus car though
I wouldn't buy a cheapish one unless it was recommended to work on your model by someone on here or from Freelander savy people elsewhere
No matter how cheap it's a waste of cash if it's not working:(
No they don't
Thats how I noticed there was a problem.
Had a quick google and it mentioned hazards so I went back out and tried em
Thought at first my alarm was knackered but how would the fob unlock the doors if that was faulty
Alarm works fine
Only with Disco, Defenders and none LR 4x4
Went to the local scrappy and rung 3 more today and not one has a freelander but the first and thats the wrong model (S reg) and completely gutted
Not as bad as ppl say then with none in the scrapyards ;)
Will do
If the Indicators are working on both sides but the hazards don't is it save to assume, that the relay switch in the dash board fusebox all the way to the right, is in working order and the hazard switch is at fault?
That appears to be the problem but it isn't a 40 amp fuse but some sort of after market linkage with 2 fuses in in protective covers, a 15 amp and a 30 amp.
The 30 amp is pretty much in a melt down stage
Quite a mess tbh
The light on my 2005 freelander aren't working
No side light
No mainbeam
No highbeam
No rear light and the dash doesn't light up
I checked all the light related fuses
All the front bulbs are OK but didn't check the rear as it's getting darker and darker
At first i thought I shorted something...
