Have you checked for wet carpets? That much condensation suggests you have got water in the car. Putting the air con on even if you want heat should get rid of condensation. Good luck.

Have you checked for oil in the injector wiring loom and at the ecu?

I stand to be corrected but you can tell if it is a bearing if the noise changes i.e go away or get quieter/louder if you turn a corner.

I guess the first thing to check would be fluid level, even if there is plenty in there it may be 'old'

well over the weekend i removed the headlining to get to the bottom of my problem with leaking sunroofs. It turns out that the rubber seal on the rear sunroof had lifted in one corner and of course the corner parts weren't sealed properly.!!! So i have put the seal back in place and araldite the...

The misfire on my disco cleared when i replaced the injector wiring harness and cleaned the oil from the ecu connector.

Tx guys. i have no idea when the thermostat was last changed so i will change it and see if it makes any difference.

Hi guys. Is there any way of getting the heater to warm up quicker? Once the temp guage gets to the middle then it's nice and toasty but it seems to take an age to get there.

stamford, mine started leaking out of the seatbelts like a mini waterfall. Then i had as you, pouring out of the front interior light onto the dashboard but the last time, i had it from as per mentioned and also the rear interior light and electrics. That was alot of water :mad: Interestingly...

i don't know of any precautions i just stripped the old one out and put new one in. I guess you could disconnect the battery first

Hi Keith. i checked mine agaain today and was amazed by how much oil was at the ecu plug again. i am going to check it weekly until either the oil stops reaching the ecu or i feel the need to replace the harness.

I'd save your hard earned and stick with the pajero. I have never owned such a P.O.S engineering that is the TD5. God i miss my pajjy.

I got around to replacing the injector harness and clean off the oil from the ecu plug/socket. What a difference, it's like driving a completely different vehicle. It actually wants to go. Now, just to sort out srs lamp and leaking sunroofs.

i had hoped i had fixed the front leaking sunroof by gluing the corners in place however, i didn't check to see if the tubes were clear. are there any rubber seals prone to disintegrate causing the leaks? next time i remove the headlining i am planning on replacing anything possible.

a spot of rain = 2 leaking sunroofs, m+s lights flashing at me and srs light on. I am still trying to fathom why i didn't buy the ML instead of the landrover :doh:

How does cruise control work with a manual gearbox? surely the idea of cruise control is that you just sit back and let the car drive you and with an auto box i understand, but with a manual gearbox you the driver still have to get the car to do what you want. :confused:
