I read you post thinking deluxe seats sounds good, might get some them. Now I looked up some pictures I realise I already have deluxe seats. It is a bit of a push to describe them like that.

I second the use of an angled extension. I put one on mine just to get the filthy diesel fumes further away from the cab and prevent any being sucked in, it really helped. And if you point it down you won't see the colour and not worry about it.

I bought a "laser guided" temp gauge for very little on Ebay and it is great for seeing the temp of hose and thermostat housing etc, and seems very accurate. I can also tell now if my son is bullshirting me when he says he has a temperature and wants a day off school.

I hear lots of recommendations for Dinitrol, and considering it myself. It is a lot more money than Waxoyl, which is the stuff we poured into a Mini back in the day.
