If it's as good as it sounds I'll end up with an empty shell of POR15 for a chassis in years to come as it rusts from the inside! POR15 it is then, how much will I need for a swb chassis? I don't want to buy too much and waste it :-P

I'm leaning heavily towards POR15 - how well does it stick to old paint? I'm going to go over the chassis with the grinder but there will enevitably be areas I can't reach... I've heard it can just peel off if not done correctly....

Yup, limestone for the roof, sides and wheels. Though sometimes they are body colour too (ie pastel green for you), I'm not sure what the difference is though and which is correct...

Cheers, I have 11" x 2 1/4" TLS for the fronts and 10" x 1 1/2" SLS for the rears so will stick a post 1980 SWB dual circuit master cylinder (and servo) on and all should be sweet :) Now just need to track down a servo vacum pump for a reasonable price...

As part of my SIII 88 rebuild I'm intending to upgrade the brakes. My plan was to fit the LWB 11" brakes to the front, keep the 10" on the rear and fit a servo as per post 1980 models. I bought a set of 11" TLS brakes from a forum member a while ago and I've finally gotten round to sorting them...
