    Reopen langdale quest please help

Ok.....so, getting a non profit organisation....probably never going to happen. Reasons being, they have A LOT of red tape to get through. All business have to adhere to comliance issues, but in non profit organisations that is a huge part of things and to have to also administer the use of...

    Reopen langdale quest please help

Firstly and this is not a rant at you.......we are all entitled to our own opinions and if you don't agree with those opinions, fine. However, you don't know someone that you've never even met well enough to assume he has the kind of attitide that you imply he has. You came on here asking a...

disco '95 300tdi auto fuel problems

Sounds like you're burning oil......Stretchie (bf) had the same thing with his bike last year and it was the piston rings. Try and get yourself a Haynes manual for your Disco as an easy refernce guide for trouble shooting. They can be a pain, but also can be really useful!

    Sat Nav discs

Hi acwchester, I'm sure you've looked already on ebay, there are some one there but are expensive so no point, but might be worth checking back every few days. Have you got anyone in your area that specialises in Land Rovers for repair/service? Every area usually has one or two Land Rover...

Bought my first Disco yesterday... today I striped the back end, guess what?

I'd be happy to pay £250 for a good service and that's what I do pay to have it done with a bloke local to me who is also one of those guys, like my brother-in-law that if he doesn;t know it about a landy, it's not worth knowing. A local garage with no specialist experience will not do the...

I need to learn the basics, what is my best bet?

+1 to both previous posts. You can go and learn off an instructor or you can get out and learn for yourself with the many years of combined experience you'll get from greenlaning with a local group. Just let them know the set up of your vehicle, example...tyres you have, any mods or lift etc...

    Insa Turbo Traction Tracks

Gorgeous Blade JP......I bet those pics will make Stretchie nervous...lol. We went out before Christmas doing Devizes to Melksham and such and was much wetter than we thought. Had a great time and Stretchie couldn't believe how well our disco coped with the mud....even with the then road tyres...

Ow much can they stick out?

WOW....police men with law degrees.....what next? He was feeding you a line because he probably didn't know for definite. You can't have the tyre sitting proud of the wheel arch when the wheels are facing straight on. So, just make yourself or buy some extended arches that stick out a little...

Ooooh, you have a fireblade. I may cry when I see it. We had the 2000 (I think) 929 in black and silver, mint condition, low mileage and a beautiful bike....STUNNING......but last May, Stretchie hit a bit of deisel (so the police said) and came off. He'll describe it better as it was a bit more...

    Door Handles on Disco ??

+1 As the whole jeep/disco thing seems to be getting on your nerves a bit and yes, you've taken a bit of a battering for it, getting so defensive so quickly won't help. You've come on a forum for people who own and love Land Rovers, so it is perfect common sense that if you mention Jeep, we...

    Insa Turbo Traction Tracks

Do we need a new topic area for things for sale/wanted on here. Anyway, what bikes have you got JP? Stretchie has a Thundercat and Blackbird.....used to have a fireblade till he came off it last year :-( The wobble/noise from the insa turbos is fab. It's just what you expect, but enjoyable...
