Depends, it was working before they swapped the box? Could be bulb, damaged wiring from box swap, or as James mentioned above connection to the box.

How about getting the bits you need and keep the lift? Unless you shoot on perfectly mown lawns?

If the vehicle was sold not as described / not fit for purpose, if they fail to rectify or refund in full (total including your px) take them to court. It's cheap. I know an ace solicitor who helped me with mine. I got paid out a year after buying.

If it's insured for 7k, You've paid the premium for 7k. Wait till they give you 7k (minus any excess). If you have any photo's that'd help sway them. Else it should be classed as fraud.
