hello! I also have a 1.8 XEI 3 door with the same thing i got the dealer to look at it but apparently its just the "nature of the beast" to stop it u have to keep the revs at 2000+ and slip the clutch. hope this helps! Steve.

I've notice a simular problem with mine, is your a 3 dr hard top? i'm gonna investigate tomorrow what it is i have a feeling its just something simple like the rubber trim on the back...

...but even the rozzer's these days have silver :P White does affect the resale value, Silver and Black are best. This is why the rozzer's are changing the colours of their cars cos the white cars don’t get as much resale as other colours! :o

if they're the standard black ones u can sand it down with a bit of wet and dry and get some black spray (Hammerite smooth spray). done it to mine you never even notice till u run your hand across it. Got to be worth a try if it saves you £80!! :)

How much did the warenty cost then? mine runs out in 10 months....
