its a bonded glass use but its a messy messy job and you will need to make spacers to hold the glass in place while it sets up ..in other words you may want to get a professional

yea ive only heard of it being done here in Trinidad but ive never seen the finished product and i dont know how well or if it even works but i would put a good TD5 engine back in it ,so much easier ,quicker and cheaper in the long run

also if the doors are open the compressor wont work .

its usually the bearings(STC3185) on the intermediate shaft that goes bad they sit higher in the box and the oil doesnt reach them when the level drops . but a recon one is good to :)

i have also wonderd if this mod is worth it

you should change water pump , thermostat and the pressure cap on the expansion tank , so you know most of the cooling system is new again and they all work . for a complete job add new radiator and clutch fan

there is no sedimenter on the TD5 but a new fuel filter is the first thing you should do .

if its had good service history it should be just fine ,its done 99k already so it works

yes you are correct overboost is the problem could be any part wastgate,hoses ,acuator etc
