Who diagnosis EAS suspension faults in/near Boston Lincolnshire

Thanks for the offers/information guys, the more I read on here the more I might give it a go myself. Took my RR out at the weekend and covered over 80miles with no eas fault, suspension worked as it should. Think I will look at the connectors in the passengers footwell for the EAS to see if...

Alternator fault message when first switched on

The alternator failed to charged when I put it under load (lights and heater on) so needed replacement. Have replaced and tested and now works ok, battery charging correctly. I still get the alternator fault message, does it need 'clearing' or could there be another problem?

Alternator fault message when first switched on

Sounds like it would be just as cheap to put a new/reconditioned one on Wammers? I see Rimmer Brothers has some well priced aftermarket ones but they are three types listed, 100amp, 120amp and 150amp, do I take it the 4.6 hse auto takes the biggest one?

Alternator fault message when first switched on

After fitting a new battery I am still having problems! After measuring the battery power this morning (12.2v!!) and starting up the RR it went up to 14.2v...mmm, so then I put it under load by putting the lights and heater on. No change untill I revved it up then it dropped off to 12.2v, i.e...

    Battery change

Halfords didn't seem to have anything as big! Even some of the run of the mill '069' batterys are in the region of £100.............with a trade card!!!! No contest.

    Spark plugs anyone tried these?

If NGK are good enough as standard for Rolls Royce I don't see why you would need anything else?

Who diagnosis EAS suspension faults in/near Boston Lincolnshire

Apart from the main dealers, does anybody know someone that diagnosis EAS faults and repairs in the Boston Lincolnshire UK area at a reasonable cost? Obviously not looking to pay main dealer prices.

    Battery change

Got a bosch fitted to mine, silver I think, only 2500 miles ago (just over a year ago) before I bought the car. Doesn't tend to hold more than 12.3v !! Think I will change before the winter, thanks for the info Datatek. http://www.batterymegastore.co.uk/product/MF31-1000/

1995 range rover P38 converting to range rover sport lookalike

Well I bought some upgraded clear lights for my P38! For anybody else doing the same be aware the bulbs for the indicators must be different as the orange bulbs don't fit the old holders without mods. The problem is the 'pins' on the bulbs change from being 180 degrees apart on the clear bulbs...

    New to the forum

Welcome to the forum, there is a wealth of information on here no matter what you own. I only joined about a month ago with a P38 Range Rover and have to say I'm very impressed with the help I have received.

    Battery change

Probably Halfords as I have one near me and like to be able to go into a store to change it if/when necessary! Any idea on what amp battery I'm looking at? I thought the 'type' was universal between all manufacturers?
