Datatek so it could be as simple as a corroded connector but i need to find which connector it would be as ive been told its the wiring from the bcem to the ecu under the bonnet as the becm seems to be working fine but ive got a dodgy passenger door lock would that stop the eka not being entered ?
wammers so if i buy a nanocom for my rr u are confident it will sort it ????/are the nanos good enough to tell you there is a break in the wire or things like that ?
Hi people my 2001 range rover was linked up to a diagnostic machine yesterday and it came up with this fault ANTI THEFT ALARM SERIAL LINK FAULT does anyone know how to get rid of this or how to find out how to fix it as I want my rr back on the road asap thank you

i was just hoping someone could say its eg the red wire and i could put my multimeter on the becm and the other on the obd to see if i had a connection, if it was only that easy
ive got rave but im crap at reading their diagrams i was hoping someone else ahs had the same problem and got diagrams or can tell me which colour wires ive got to trace

mozz was round mine the other day for about 3 hours and he was miffed aswell it just isnt right somewhere need diagnostics to diagnose least then if it is bcem ill send it off to rick with a big box ov sweeties lol
