    hypoid gear oil has a smell similar to natural gas, check for leaks from the axles as they use this type of oil in them . most likely from the oil seals. Landrovers leak for two reasons 1. to let oil out 2. to let water in

    just to add. you should go through the full range of movements as rob says , but do it in one continuous movement dont stop part way through or you will need to start again.

    53.9 p ltr at tescos in norwich. bp seems to be the biggest ripoff merchants, especially their motorway service stations always at least 10p more than any local prices . i would rather run on petrol than fill up at bp .they can :multiply: :mooning:

    as gav has hinted you will need to remove the centre dash switch panel. the 7" monitor will fit behind if you cut the back of the little cubby hole off that is what i did to install one in my dash for a dvd player & reversing camera :) but i guess it depends on the model of screen

    I agree with andy. I fitted the double s stainless quad exit pipes to my 4.6 hse 1996 . The brake pipes are routed along the top of the rear axle on this year. later brake pipes are routed along both sides of the car and a flexi pipe to the calipers. this is a problem if you use access mode on...

    Welcome duncan. 205/80x16 is the correct size. 235/70x16 is a direct replacement if you want wider tyres without altering the curcumference.this will keep your gearing and speedo readings within tolerance
