air suspension problems can easily be resolved these days if you get them. and fairly cheaply in most cases. its what makes the p38 such a comfortable car to drive
when old guy said he had no display , i took it as meaning the display was not working , of course it could mean just bleeps, and there was no messages on the display :confused:
my 4.6 has been on lpg for the last 6 years with no issues 75000 miles later.( prinz multipoint system.) go for it , but make sure you get a top quality system that has been properly fitted.
no change yet jules. spoken to mozz on the phone and went through all his procedures but still nothing. cant understand why the nanocom wont re sync the becm , it will probably end up with bill over at autoland in houghton regis if i cant sort it my self. :( im a bit loathe to rip out the becm...
i found this while looking for parts , if you have a dodgy obd2 socket it would be a cheap replacement

was worth checking thanks datateck. voltage is 12.4 at the battery, the same at the fuses in the under bonnet fuse box, and 12.3 at the thick brown connections to the becm.

well had another look at the range rover today with the nanocom. tried clearing the rf memory , that made no difference.
disable alarm, it says nanocom has instructed the becm to change the alarm status,
but its still immobilised.
entered eka code through nanocom. still no good
security...
the size of the plate means that there is no way it fits the nanocom. if it was about 20mm shorter it would fit between the two end plates of the nanocom. ah well it will come in handy some time no doubt:rolleyes:
it was a bit poor considering that i purchased a new rf reciever from island 4x4. it is about 3 inches square and arrived in a box full of polystyrene pieces, the box was 18 inches square :eek: and it was free postage
