ep2 is general use grease ok for most things but dont use it on swivels its just way to thick it wall cause loads of friction in the swivel or the grease will just stick to the outside of the swivel leaving the CV joint unprotected you must use one shot swivel grease

you will have to have them cleared

early td5s the light will not go out if the problem is fixed later td5 the ecu can reset itself but not always

and dont put ep2 in the swivels (big ball thing) some track rod ends have grease nipples on and there on the propshafts

there are no leak off pipes on a td5 the fuel return is an internal part of the head the seals can fail on the injectors and cause a leak or the head can crack meaning a new head £1400+ but as said there will be a rise in oil leavel if there is a leak

in what way do you think you are loosing diesel smell, stains on the drive, or MPG ??? the pipes around the tank can leak and diesel can leak in the rocker cover but you will see the oil level rising
