    It is a big job, some guys actually drop the front diff over the pit to get better access, I am not sure about removing the front grill, kinda seems a long way round.

    blah blah blah about tractors, what was seeding like? we finished about a week ago in WA, I see you were using a one pass disk cutter type seeder, we used the ausplow ones with knives seemed to work fairly well, only 45ft across though.

    yeah just make sure you keep the trailer in good nic. I tow my 23 foot searay with a 200tdi 90, trailer no longer has brakes but we are only towing down the road. the salt water seizes them up pretty quick, especially if you dunk the trailer in after a long journey.

    agree, also land rover parts are hard to come by out in the bush. you have to get them from Sydney and end up paying 3 fold what you would in the UK. A 200ti engine from a fender used will cost you about $6000-8000 in average condition. No serious aussies would ever hit the bush in a land...
