blow torch still didnt work, next is to get hold a a welder and try that, iv never had such a ****y bolt.

i havnt got many 1/2 drive sockets for the impact wrench, i fort i might have more chance getting those bolts out with it, i gota go get a blow torch to try and get that water pump bolt off 1st anyway its not budging even with a bug hammer and a chisel.

thats what im not looking foward to, are the timing cover bolts likely to be the same, i got myself 1 of them electric impact wrench's to make life a bit easyer but i havnt got the right 1/2 drive sockets for the timing cover a bit of a waste of money:rolleyes:

update on mine, got the head rebuilt with all new parts and ready to go back on, stuck on a seized bolt on the water pump at the mo gota go buy a blow torch tomorow and try heating it, hopefully wont give me much more trouble and will have it running tomorow depending on weather, hopefully will...

i carry 3 adult bikes on a normal rack tied down to the rear door and the lower arm sits just on top of bumper, you can still open and close the door but it does pull it back a bit and i get an anoying whistle at bout 60

ok, several people have said heat the block and several said heat the bolt, whats the best or shal i try both, im on a realy tight budget and and cant afford a mistake, tryd a cold chisel and a 4lb hammer and still didtn move just cuts into it.

unfortunatly i havnt got a welder and am taking the pump off to replace a snapped cambelt so cant drive it anywhere. if heat doesnt work i will have to grind it and hope i can get the remainder out.

the last bolt on my waterpump has seized solid, the grippers just keep chewing the head, is it safe to heat it and is there another way of getting it off, have been spraying it with a penetrater every couple of hours all day yesterday and not made a difference, any help would be appreciated...

mine does it two, learned to live with and nearly never crunches goin up but stil does comeing down.

im in the same boat, but i got no choice lol, im just gona replace everything anyway so gota save for a few weeks gona cost bout £160 to do but then i no the engine will last a few more miles, then i got brakes, suspension, boot floor, front inner wheel arches and tyres to get befor mot.

i havnt looked to see if something else caused it to break but the last change in the book was at 76,000 (nearly 8 years ago) and now on 146,000 so was overdue a change and it was on my to do list just a shame it went before i had a chance.

does anyone know where i can get the cam chain conversion kit from, iv heard about them but cant seem to find 1.

i got one 2 lol, went out at 12.45 yesterday for a friends birthday at a curry house to find i had a puncture, was late and dirty when i got there.

i last worked in august, its silly i can do loads of jobs i see but i aint got the bits of paper that say i can do them, phoned a few today hopefully something turns up soon, ohwel gotta keep smilein :D
