did this fuse in position 11 thing to mine the other day and it wouldn't go into transfer neutral unless I moved the gear selector from P to N... So did that and it was fine, turned it back off, pulled the fuse back out, and turned it on and it selected high again and all ticketty boo...

    Overheating Issue? & Cutting Out?

check the radiator isn't bunged up with mud, or it could be blocked internally? My series one did the exact same thing, put a new rad on and it was fine, back flushed the old one and you wouldn't believe what came out of it!! Worth checking, I think the P38 rads have particularly fine innards...

    Does anyone know...

Thanks for that, they only list classic bladders though not p38 ones? I guessing the top and bottom fittings/cones are different but I not sure if the rubber parts are the same? Does that make sense? I know the whole units are different, but are the rubber bags totally different from each other?

    Does anyone know...

Someone MUST know! i've done a search on here and can't find anything, someone suggested to me that the early type P38 Springs with aluminium cones (like mine has) take the same sized bladders as the classics? Or is that boy cow plop?

    Does anyone know...

Looking on rangerover.net on the air spring section, just the bladders, not the whole bags, and it sortof mentions/implies that the clasic eas and the P38 eas bladders have the same part number? Does anyone know if this is true? has anyone seen them side by side? Are they the same size?

mine are 255/55/19, I went from 255/55/18 to the 19s so can't really compare, the ride is not firm I wouldn't say so anyway! the only problem with them is when she's sat down on the bump stops she's actually sat on the tyres

    OLD Landy Thefts

They won't get far without a rotor arm in the dizzy! And there's so many different ways of putting it in neutral by the time they've worked out the right combination I'd have finished the shopping and be back at the truck, where there's a will there's a way though and if the sods want it...

Yer, whilst ofcourse it slide around a bit, you get so much feedback from it you can keep it going where you want, and it will go anywhere! In our nearest village there's a very steep hill to get into it, so the townies that use it as a cut through have been getting stuck trying to get...

    P38 Recovery Points?

I have a tow bar on mine and the filler is on a bracket next to it, I've made a skid plate that bolts onto the towball mount and gives a 10mm plate skid that protects the tow ball and means that when it does bash something, which happens alot, then its the skid that takes it not the towball, I...

No strange extra brackets or fixings anywhere? Maybe someone made it for a different thing like a tractor or something and it just found its way into the landy? Would it be worth a phonecall to someone at dunsfold?

    P38 4.0 lt V8 lpg....How much MPG????

thats with the suspension locked to motorway height all the time, and driving country lanes no motorways, and i don't accelerate up to 60 as quick as I can but I do get there, probably tend to sit at 50-55 on my weekly route, I can't believe that! I was raving about how much more it uses when...

    P38 4.0 lt V8 lpg....How much MPG????

serious? Is that what it works out to? I've never bothered working it out I just know my gas level lights are useless, so I run my tank until the car won't move, then fill up and zero my trip clock on the dash, and it gets to 252, 248, 246, 253, then is completely empty again, and to fill costs...

    P38 4.0 lt V8 lpg....How much MPG????

from completely empty mine takes £40 of gas, and on tarmac that gets me 250miles... But I drive like a fossil, locking the suspension to motorway mode makes a huge difference, if I leave it on auto so it goes up and down by itself, so at 30mph its in standard height not down lower, then I only...
