Hi Rachel, I agree with Druim can't see the point in venting the box ? now you have finely tuned your EAS system the compressor will be running as designed for short periods.

Schrader Industrial Valves Yep make your own emergency valves ! I keep a set in the glove box as did not EVER want to experience another journey home on the :bump: stops. In fact that once off experience persuaded me to completely refurb my EAS system about a year ago :cool:

Compressor will not run if ecu has logged faults the very reason op is trying to clear faults with diagnostics he has. The kicker will do just that if it can communicate. 9 times out of 10 cleaning the ecu contacts will provide results ! :)

Flashing RED after several attempts indicates a problem in the ecu and you will need to rectify that fault of bad communications before you can go any further, try unplugging the EAS ecu under passenger seat clean connections and try again

Look on the bright side only height sensors, driver pack, EAS drier, and all airlines to go and your guaranteed a result :D
