My Landy is different, it always has had 1 pipe going from the manifold straight to the filler cap, so it doesn't have a breather fitted.

Hi, My 90 is fitted with a 2.5 N/A which has done 116K, In the last couple of months it seems to have developed a top end rattle. It seems like a loud tick, I serviced it last week and checked the tappet clearances and adjusted accordingly ( nothing was excessively out of adjustment)...

I went on to we buy any car today to see what a defender was worth, but its not as the name suggests. After you enter your reg, you get to choose the manufacturer and then the model. see when you enter Landrover NO mention of Defender! Perhaps it should be we buy any car except defenders...

Oh well that's me finally got some time on my hands, time to catch up on some jobs. Track rod ends, brake pads, wheel bearing & UJ ordered, hope the weather is good next week. Might even get the new back door sprayed and fitted!

I was told by a tanker driver mate that they all use the same refinery, but supermarket fuel doesnt have the the selected additives in it like Shell, Esso & BP wold have in it thats why its chapter. Sorry i just thought id add my 2 pence worth! Merry Christmas
