yer you can do it, its awquard but doable. when i owned a p38 i fitted a manual boost controller, that way you can adjust the boost if needed when ever you like easy. boost controllers eliminate wastgate creep to, so best of both worlds really.

well despite all the comments i fitted them discs to my l322 and in heavy usage they are much better than standard ones, they do take a long time to bed in though. mine took over a thousand miles before all the machine marks where gone, there is a definate improvement over standard.

having the alarm led in the mirror would suggest its a l322, slave fuel pumps are a most common problem and injectors.

behind the drivers side panel in the boot is where the electric socket for towbar wiring is, you cant just tap in to the wiring on the 322 you need the seperate ecu and wiring, then its just a plug and play.

take the back off the mirror, if you get that off without breaking the clips your off to a good start. inside you will see a microswitch mounted on plastic which moves/ breaks, depending on what has happened to yours you can repair it with some patience.

best way i find is to take the return pipe of the pot and stick it in a old gallon can, start the engine a let the pump run the old ****e out. dont let it run dry though, have your new gallon there waiting and as soon as the pump wines put the new in and let it run through till you see nice...

mines a 2005 td6 and its 205 quid a year, just taxed it so me knows pretty well.;)

one more importent thing you guys missed out, the problematic gearbox on the td6. take it out when its cold and make sure its smooth as silk and changes quickly, sluggish/clunky changes could be some thing simple like oil and filter change or the start of a 2k bill for replacement. land rovers...

i put it down to the oil loosing its body and not lubriacating the steering box bearings/ bushes properly there for transmitting the groaning noise up through the column under load, ie lock to lock. use dexron 3 to replace the 2, its a better spec oil.

i had that problem when i had a p38, i took the steering wheel off and oiled the upper and lower column bush but it still made a groaning noise. stumped for a while:confused: then i flushed and changed the power steering fluid and the noise went. jobs a goodun.:D
