i had the same problem with mine, easy fix though. take out the two torque head bolts and remove the latch(it just slides of the cable end) then clean all the old ****e out, i used penertrating oil and kept working the latch to get all the crap out then i cleaned it with rag and re oiled it...

he cant have wound it up to much, boost cut kick in at 19psi or there abouts. that pressure is to low to damage either the engine or turbo.

the breather valve system is on top of the engine and is supposed to be changed anually, its on 35 quid from a dealer. get one bought and stop being tight.;)

Arron Why did you need an engine ECU..? engine ecus are different from auto to manual, something to do with software. mine did run with the auto one on but was really easy to stall, you had to rev the ring of it to pull away. after changing it to the manual engine ecu its fine, you can pull...

by putting bigger wheels on it only in affect change the finaldrive ratio, it doesnt effect the diffs, gearbox or any other part of the drive train. think about it, its only a bigger rolling circumference over the smaller wheel.

some one filling you with ****e, how can wheel size affect a diff. unless you got 22s on one side and 16s on the other the diff dont know any different.

well theres no other mods to be done to it, no one makes a cam for it or any upgraded internals. the only other upgrade is a bigger turbo but i really dont see that helping to much as it seems fairly high strung at the power its running all ready.

The engine is just a 2.5 turbo diesel, nothing special about it. you aint seen mine have ya old boy :cool:, and besides while my young bones are agile enough to slide around under it without aching ill keep on changing the mildy black stuff.:p

you say a complete waste, maybe on yours it is. mine runs sweet as on 165k and as people on here know is far from a standard engine. never had a problem with it in all the 7 years i owned it, so i think i'll stick to the fully on regular oil changes. thanks for the input though,;).
