i used the string trick on me xj6 ,problem was it was so tight i used a rubber hammer...hence 2 second hand screens ;) ( btw ,local paint shop fitted second one for a tenner)

funnily enough,i always fuel up at sainsburys(nectar points for mum) and can honestly say that ive never once had a problem...

tbh ,the freee lander is only one up from a citroen ami 8 (no offence to citroen) most reliable(un) 4x4 off the road ;)

just a quick follow up,went amd spoke to a very nice chap at landrover in ashford kent,he checked under the bonnet and couldnt find anything wrong,spoke to another nice chap in the parts dept and asked for 12v 30amp doodah and he said i should get it checked by auto leccy first as cant refund on...

where's the best place to buy ''Ovoline Super Tractor Universal engine oil '' and would it be ok in my 94 200 tdi ? ime due a oli and filter change. ime nr folkestone in kent btw. bernie

cheers for the advice m8 ,ile into my local chap tomorrow..there's only one set of spots btw and it appears they are wired into the main beams,there are 2 black relay? / fuses ? on the off side inner wind that have a series of red wires which i believe could be part of the circuit ..4 wires on...
