Just watched the video, am I mistaken, or has he fitted the wrong pad to the right hand side of the disc? I'm sure the taper is at the bottom, which suggests that one should be on the left hand side of the nearside disc. What do you think chaps?

You may find that the disc is well stuck to the hub if it hasn't been off before, mine were, luckily I had a 3 leg puller to get them off, otherwise I would have struggled. I had tried tempting them off with a hammer but if I'd have hit then any harder I could well have damaged them. Of course...

It's no good just de-greasing them, you need to remove or at least neutralise any rust that's on them before you paint them. Even hammerite will probably succumb to rust eventually. And they will get pretty bloody hot under breaking, so maybe you could try stove paint, that should stand the...

I had a similar noise, and it was the vacuum pipe that had come off the egr valve as TD John said. If it isn't off check for leaks in the tube maybe.

Try General Grabber UHP's. I have them on mine as they don't do the AT2's in my size either (225/55/R17 97V) They seem ok so far, just waiting to try em out int snow.
