if its early - i just had exactly same happen - got pattern centre section from local factors - £27 (incl gasket) and genuine rear box from a LR dealer for £57 (clearing out old stock on ebay )

Mine had a broken cable so replaced it with a used one off ebay - it looked in fantastic condition !!! opend tailgate last night - funny noise then glasss drops alway down !! broken cable again !!! £80 and it lasted just over a month Anyone ever used the new pattern units available...

mine did same press switch as if you are lowering window - then with tailgate open gently tap glass down with your hand - mine went down eventually !!!

really easy - did mine the other week remove rear door trim remoce to bolts on glass clamps remove HRW wires remove rear glass remove bolts at each corner of mech remove connector from motor ans bolts from motor remov mech as a whole refit is reverse then did...

Just been out to car now turn keys - all lights no start took out keys tried again - no start took out keys tried again - start tried a further 7 times and started immediately !!!!

will have to double check but I think the panel lights do stay on (or they may go off for a slpit second then back on again) Some times if I keep the key turned it fires up after a few seconds - other times it doesnt ??
