Hi all, got a quick q - know part of this was answered previously, but i'm wondering about both gaskets. RAVE / Haynes talk about replacing gastets when fannying around with the ERG and the induction manifold - do i really need to change both of these? Or can i clean and reuse? I just want...

Nice :) glad it was an easy fix. Considering ordering a new fuel pressure sensor harness, but still haven't had time to take a look at what the removal / fitting would be like :-)

I just had a cough and splutter at speed - not at low speed - was caused by dirty connection / wires fraying on the fuel rail pressure sensor. Took off connector, cleaned with contact cleaner and a small wire brush, insulated the three wires individually as a temporary fix, so far so good...

anyone done the harness replacement? got any details, hints, instructions, photos, stories, whatever? :-) much appreciated before i get up to my elbows in engine and wires.

ps. anyone got the LTB00052 service bulletin service procedure document? scanned? in pdf? pretty please? Land Rover owner site wants more than just my registration for it...it wants...MONEY.

Yeah, i think i read that too - my qestion is, how do i tell, if its the harness / connector, or the sensor itself? Spraying contact cleaner on the connection solves the problem for a while. Also, the harness / cable from the fuel sensor disappears under the engine head somewhere - how...

Firstly, as Vic rightly suggested, intermittent = not the crankshaft pulley. I took off the splash shield and that looks fine. The, went thought the things i did on that Saturday when i got the problem to go away for a while, one by one. Checked injectors, injector connections etc...

Thanks, checked splash shield, does not seem to be causing the problem. Will take a photo of the crankshaft pulley anyway and post asap here. Today the jerkiness and slight smoking returned.

Thanks for the replies, will investigate. Went for a drive - the rattle was gone. Went for another later on, was there, but just a little. So, it seems rather intermittent :-S Need to do about 100Km tomorrow, so hope it will be ok :-)
