didnt check to see if it worked but there are 4 wires 2 black 1 green/black and i think white &purple so just wired them like for like although the 2 black wires if swaped around the pump wont work so im guessing its wired up ok cant understand why it moves when the ignition is switched on but...

hi will the front seats from a 2005 facelift fl fit in my 2003 fl 1?

you can just use a peice of pipe off the bleed nipple int a bottle with fluid in the bottom undo the nipple and pump away the fluid in the bottom prevent air gettin sucked up;)

hi all just an up date ive now got my fl up and running:D head off preasure tested ,scimmed, up graded head gasket, new water pump, stat upgrade & new cambelt flushed engine filled with fresh anti freeze runs sweet;), cant take all the credit as my mate did it for me all in with parts £280:cool:

had the same with mine changed the slave cylinder as they cant be blead helped a bit but ended up having a new clutch also drained the gear box oil and re newed it the problem with mine was the clutch arm that went into the gear box had seazed:eek: hope yours is just the slave cylinder also try...

yep all in hand thanks again hope when all this is done and two new tyres(on the back and back ones on the front;)) i can once again love my fl :D

ok problem turned out to be hg so getting new head gasket hed skim while its stripped new water pump cambelt thermostat:) then hopfully all will be well:rolleyes: will keep you all updated

thanks vissie as it happens my fuel pump is very noisey on tick over as if its strugling to suck the fuel do you think this is the pump or could it be filter? thanks again for your reply

ok thanks for your replys ive already changed plugs and leads with no difference other thing we couldnt figger out was the exhaust seemed to be free flowing ie fumes were comming out the back:confused: also why when it cuts out would it not start for a few minuets?

hi having problems with the freelander its a 1.8 massai 2003, its been miss firing for a while but over the last 3-4 days when i start it in the morning it starts first time but then cuts out:confused: start it again and all is ok:) but today driving along doing about 40mph and it just cut out:(...

i had a floppy one lol mine was the roll pin had stretched the outer hole of the gear selector so off with the sump guard nocked out the old pin found a new pin a bit bigger nocked that in and all good:D
