    well, is it single element? there are a few bosch kits that use a motor to move a shutter allowing light to use the high beam part of the reflector, but if yours doesnt have this then no, you dont have high beam. how many wires go to each bulb on the HID kit?

    trodden ground it is. being an auto, it may just be as easy as getting the cruise switch, the cruse ECU and getting it enabled by LR in the main ECU. it should be that easy. as for aftermarket, have a look at the conrad anderson website, the kit taps into the brake switch, and engine speed...

    i had the same thing, does it happen when you have your foot buried up hills too? if so probably the actuator on the turbo, i think that what it was, i can let you know though. does it loose power, then if you keep your foot down it comes back 10 seconds later or so

    the incicators and lock is probably the easyest option, but its also the one that would cive you a false positive, plusing earth for the led? thats a but weird, even so, that makes things alittle. assuming its a true earth, and not just a 0volts, eitherway, keepling the supply and earth...
