ming, i cant find it. looked in freelander and common faults. one guy thinks that the switch is the cruise control switch, but why would you use a plastic pooly retained switch as the clutch stop? ummmmmmmm. anybody reading this fancy looking at there TD4 to see what stops the clutch on...

evening all. today on the way home from work my clutch dissapeared, went for the pedal and couldnt feel it. Dreading it had fallen to the floor i killed the engine and pulled over. What did i find? the clutch pedal UP, and i mean UP. its sitting about 4 inches higher than the brake pedal...

Quick Question, does anone else have inch - inch half free play in there clutch pedal before you can feel anything more then the spring? i have had alittle search, but we all know how many clutch stories there are on here. UC

dude, you are looking at ALOT to get it changed. they are auto ajusting. they have renound clutch problems, probably the cylinder gone. get it bled at a garage first £20.
