What brand of fuel pump did you have fitted pal ? If there's air in the system you will hear it hissing out the diaphram on the fpr when you prime it

Had the same problem myself pal over winter pump kept seizeing and blowing fuse ending in me having to purchase new compressor pump

Find the relay (little yellow box) next to the fuseable link ,look on underside of fuse box lid to see which one it is,take it out and give it a few sharp taps with screw driver handle then replace. Has the pump been making any noises before this happened ?

Pateire,i don't think your problem noise is your compressor as opening any door would stop the noise instantly

The compressor should never run on once the key is pulled,If it is the pump making a racket it's on it's way out..symtoms in freezing weather are pump seizing up and blowing fuseable link in engine fuse box (30 amp) I think moisture in the pump is the cause..Does opening any of the doors cut the...
