Hi all, Now that the snow is gone I am looking into removing my prop. I rang a local mechanic for a figure and he said it'd be around £40. Is that a reasonable fee? I'd try it myself but my driveway is a real pain (steep slope). Thanks.

Just a thought... Are you trying to start it in Park? Perhaps pop it into neutral and try to start it. Andy.

You should go easy on owners of those other 4 wheel drives here - they might get annoyed... Although on the other hand - they won't be reading this thread anyway, they'll be too busy standing at the roadside hoping that a Freelander may pass by and stop to help them out ;-)
