In my old car I had Nissan data scan and a USB cable so I could read and clear codes plus do minor tweaks and tests etc on the various systems
Is there something similar for freelander 1?
Also where is the obd (or similar) port

That's what i was seeing but with no knowledge was only going on T'internet lol
On my old car forum I was one of the 'experts' lol....did loads of tech write ups etc.
if you purchased recently there may be warranty?
Just had quick Google search and there are lots of discussions around fuel gauge issues on the fl2
Most seem to involve sensors being replaced by main dealer
Will see what more knowledgeable peeps come back to you with though
and decided id do air filter, not touch the breather mod as waiting for socket for oil filter etc and would rather do with fresh oil, so will be next week most likely

and i fitted the pollen filter...old wasn't too bad but thought id replace as its my car now lol..pics of old and new
Hi all
OK so the little plastic cover that goes over the bulbs for the rear plate.
The metal spring clip things are rusted away on mine and i've had to put a bit of tape on for now and want to refit properly
anyone know what these are called and where to get them from?

Today decided to Repaint the rear wheel hanger and brakelight holder...
Plus a first pass repainting the front lettering
And there was a scuff on the rear bumper so had the paint matched and painted it, not perfect but at least its not as noticeable now.
