I got a daignostic fault code reader, it didnt pick up anything though, no codes stored, il try again in a mo as i had engine running when i last tried! or is it a testbook or rovacom jobby?

The cooling system on a 4.6 is self bleeding as far as now, if you got trouble with air locks you will most probably find the small bore pipe from the top drivers side corner of the rad to the expansion bottle is blocked, or the expnsion bottle connection for this pipe, remove the expansion cap...

its hard to test the switch pack switches as you cant isolate them from the rest of the circuit, i have tried myself, it would seem you defo gona need another switch pack so maybe worth buying new, as it know to be good, and keeping roof shut when it rains (lol) then go on from there to see what...

theres 7 wires i think going to roof motor on p38's, the two thick ones are the power suply, shove 12v down them to see if it worksm hopefully it wont then you can replace motor, if it does work it then may be switch pack or BeCM even

i bypassed mine earlier this year, a cooler charge temerature is a good thing i think! (in the UK)
