drop the oils out your gearbox and transfer box,if one of them has metal fragments in the oil you know weather its your gear or transferbox whats gone

is there a way of testing to see if the gaskets had it before i take it all to pieces (just incase the gaskets ok)

my 200tdi makes this ticking noise,ive owned 4 200tdi's but only this one does it,engine doesnt miss a beat and pulls like hell but never got to bottom of ticking noise

2 great looking series landys there,i saw the series 1 on wednesday on storfath lane,i flashed him & let him out of the junction(i was driving a tarmac crew cab pickup)

i had this trouble other week for 3 mornings,engine was up temp for a good half hour before warm air started blowing through,recon it was ice in heater box cos since i topped up cooling system with antifreeze its not done it(touch wood)

im not saying he is the suspect im just saying he was seen twice driving past my house slowly having a good look at my 90,and no one knows of a landy matching that description in this area,he may be genuine then again might not i just take not of anything like that since my last 90 got...

looks like there at it again,heard of one stolen from eckington nr chesterfield other night to,im off work now so i'll keep an eye out round chesterfield for you

they just screw out(think its 8 or 10mm socket/spanner) and then just put a new one in,you'll be ok driving it like that for a while untill its ready for greasing

I think its more a case that landy owners have secured there landy's better and the thieves know the police are cracking down,if you think about it all this snow and ice is perfect cover for them,you can garuntee the landy will have been used during day so wouldnt take long to defrost late...
