    New rear lights?

Yes, I managed to fix this. I had it quite badly, although not quite as much water as yours by the looks of it. All I did was drill a few tiny holes in the covers. I used a extremely small drill bit, probably about 1mm, and did two holes at the bottom and two at the top. You may wonder why...

    2003 Range Rover Vogue

Am I the only one who is concerned that garages/mechanics are taking on work that they have no idea about on vehicles which they aren't trained?! Fair play that this bloke is coming and looking for an answer, trying to help his customer. But why take on the job in the first place?!

Which is better in the snow, P38 or L322 Range Rover? (pic)

Wowzer! Where did that L322 even come from? Must have been another turning off to the right of the pic which he came straight across at some serious speed?!

    recomend a good wax

Agreed with recommendations of auto glym and also meguairs. If you haven't used it before then have a go with a clay bar (meguiar's quick clay is good), it takes a serious amount of time to do the whole car, but really makes a difference! I use it a couple of times a year to get out any road...

    L.E.D Daylight-Running Lights On P38

Don't do it would be my advice. Tends to look pretty crap on older cars for which it wasn't designed, and indeed even some cars which are supposed to have them! Also it looks too obviously after market. As above you 'might' get away with it on a L322 if done right, but a P38 I doubt. Each to...

no need for TV in motion

I'm assuming that you are doing this on a '06 or later touch screen model then rather than '02-'05 non touch version?

    S/S exhausts any recomendations please

Mine is from Quicksilver. I think they will do custom jobs if you ask them, not sure how much it is likely to cost though. Do a bit of negotiation, I managed to get about 20% off mine in the end. Very happy with it, although not cheap (even with discount!).

    New Owner Questions?

That doesn't massively suprise me having seen the mechanism in the door when it was changed (bloody fiddly!). It goes around a kind of cam which seized and caused the cable to rub against a metal part/stretch. Only a matter of time until it wears through doing that. Plenty of lube on the cam...

    Insurance Co thieves

I seem to be one of the few people who I know who managed to get it to come down this year. My renewal through elephant was increased despite an extra years no claims. However I managed to find it cheaper through Adrian Flux. Call them direct and tell them you are with 'pistonheads website' -...

    New Owner Questions?

No they don't, unless they haven't been looked after. I've had mine (53 plate 100k miles) for a couple of years now and not had too many issues. In two years all I've had to do the following: - Change one of the front calipers (piston kept sticking, seals worn etc, not really a fault, just...

    New Owner Questions?

The easiest of these problems to fix is probably the steering column. See this thread linked which talks about it, and the 2nd link for guide of how to fix. Its a DIY job, unlike the other stuff. Any way you can take this back to the seller or has he gone to ground...

    l322 tv tuner upgrade

That's pretty outragous. I'd bet you a tenner that all he is doing is fitting the 2006> DVD based satnav and tv tuner whihc you can buy on ebay (as someone already said) for about £400. So £800 for labour/markup is rather on the rip-off side!

    Service warning light

You will need a diagnostic tool to do that. Dealer/Indy service place would be one way but I guess they would want to charge you something for the privilage unless you are particuarly charming! Or if you can find an individual with one then they should be able to do it too. There are a few...

    Range Rover Vogue 2007

Hello and welcome to the forum, There are a few threads knocking about regarding things to look for with L322's in general, although most are based around the 2003-2006 ones, rather than the later models and their obvious changes. Perhaps they are better built, or maybe they haven't been...

    Viewing a HSE L322 – Possible Problems

Hope you got some money off the asking price with all this stuff wrong with it. Otherwise I'd be tempted to take it back - sounds like there is all sorts of niggles wrong! Seats and AC sound like they are what is technically known as 'knackered'. Hope you saved some cash for repairs!

    Range Rover TD6?

Well i won't go into too much detail as it has been covered in length on other threads, but basically by re-mapping/chipping you are probably going to increase the torque. The current gearbox on those early diesels isn't rated to even to standard torque output (hence the problems people have...

L322 4.4 RR Virgin questions - EAS, Memory seats, rear entertainment & Key Fob ;)

For how to fix your steering column adjustment look at the other thread on this forum currently running. Or have a look at this link: fullfatrr.com - View topic - Steering column adjuster That is probably what has gone wrong with it. 500 quid to fix if you don't do it yourself, so as above...

    Range Rover TD6?

If MPG isn't an issue, but reliability is then go for the V8 petrol version not TDV6. Diesel gearboxs are weak and if you look through this forum you'll see alot of them failing. V8 gearbox is different and seems to be more reliable. Plus you get the nice sound of a V8 rather than a rattly...

    l322 steering wheel wont extend

I had this problem and managed to fix it using the guide on the below link. Took me about an hour and a half, and you'll need torx screwdrivers, but it isn't too hard a job. If its like 95% of other cases when this stops working then it'll be a little bit of snapped plastic which is the clip...
