Allisport have a conversion kit. I spoke to several Landy owners on the Allisport stand at the 3 Counties LR show earlier this year and they all praised the performance and reliabilit. I've had LPG on cars and they worked great as well. If you can get to their premises they have a demo.

Sorry to be pedantic but don't ever use wet & dry on electrical contacts it contains conductive material. If you must clean contacts use a fine file or glass (sand) paper and make certain you flush it clean afterwards otherwise that abrasive will do more harm than good. That's why I suggested...

First check check the fuse (remove, examine, clean and refit) then the lead connections to the switches. test the switches with a test meter. They might want a squirt of electrical contact cleaner (Maplins)
