so has it reblown the fuse? if it worked all ok before then its possible you have caught a wire, is the glass catching any wires during up and down movement? think the harness runs just below where the regulator motor bolts to the door panel , check you have not trapped the harness there.

ye you will need the wiring that goes to the roof aerial, which you will also need, you will need to strip the facia down a bit to fit it though, depends how good you are with a screwdriver as to wether its easy or not
