they are just messages due to loss of power to the module, u will also get them if you get a flat battery, nothing to worry about in those circumstances
well the cam belts are just servicable items so that nott really a problem other than cost,
check that the leak isnt down to the new water pump u just had fitted, doesnt seem that bad for a car of that mileage
its allways the same i find wen you look at other peoples cars you can always tell wen they have non genuine accesories fitted they just look cheaper,

if it not a l/r dealer carrying out the work, make sure they buy the lastest multi layer haed gasket, this will prevent it happening again
some motor factors will still supply the old style gasket which you dont want
forget that seat heater repair, if you gonna strip the seat down you may aswell fit a new element, just sticks on the foam, as clutchdust says they have also been modified so the element does not cross the leather fixing points anymore, :)
have you tried opening it? not sure how u explain it, might just be me lol
are you saying the key transponder was never learned, if it is a valid key you should be able to open it then the transponder link will knock off security.
if this key does not work then you may have to get it...
1, this will be your rear hub top bushes they squeek quite bad when worn. and the wear rate is alot quicker on deisel models, they start getting changed after about 30k
