welll seems like you have a positive fault, i cant think of any thing off the top of my head, think because they cant find anything there just starting to blag you, these things run as smooth as you like. are there any other dealers near that you can try?

the engine is chain driven so no cam belt, all you have are 2 auxillary drive belts, the air con is driven seperately to the rest of componants

shine a torch down the side of your auxillary drive belt to see if its catching anything, or to see if your belt is starting to fray, it may just be loose and the xtra load of the air con or pas is causing it to slip

the thermostat is located in the V of the engine at the centre, if this leaks the drain hole out of the V is at the back and it will drop down onto the oil filter so this could easily be your problem, and yes you do have to remove your inlet manifolds to change it, what a rubbish idea i know...

could you not buy the parts over the net and fit them yourself, the parts you have mentioned would not be that difficult to fit,

have you had the car long, was it doing it when you bought it? or has it started all of a sudden? it maybe needs the modified pas pipe to stop the knocking the old ones caused, just a guess hope this helps

lol i beleive the hevac cotrol panels from LR are about £85 + the vat they used to be about £200 but they got reduced, you may have an external temp sensor fault
