Thanks,its more power we are after to cope with deep sand,not botherd about speed,we found the best way to get through the dunes was to use 1st high and just floor it so it is mainly more low down power we nead

Hi,has anyone fit a bigger intercooler and turbo onto the 2.5 diesel.If so how did it go and what did you use.

We did 5000 miles in our p38 at Easter and had no problems, so take the P38 and enjoy

We're always up for a meet and a pint or 4. If you're in two minds about going, we can convince you by the time you've supped your pint that you really need to go!!

Also, it will be a family friendly trip, the more the merrier. A good time was had by all and we had a cracking BBQ at the side of a dried up river bed at 4000+ ft, top night. We're also up for a pint sometime if you fancy anyone. Cheers

Chilipepper, It was a great trip, no problems with locals apart from getting into the country.. We were stuck at customs for over two hours just waiting to get our stamps. Bloody gippo's loaded with everything and had to empty the cars/vans for customs. Apart from that, no problem at all...

what would anyone suggest for hotter climates like morocco also for the gearbox and diffs

Just been to Morrocco in our P38.Had a great time in the sand even pulled out 110 and 90s when they got stuck

Easter time here too. Seems we busted one of the new shockers in the rear too. We've left the sand in the rangy, something to remind Sid of while he drives to work in it :-)

200... Seems you only over the hill from us, we're in Halifax. Oldun... Would love to go every year but finances don't permit. I was going to work out what it cost to do this years trip in fuel and ferries etc, post it on here so those interested can get a rough guestimate. Plenty time to save...
