The g meter which activates the air bags also releases locks I believed but your friends story sounds funny but distressing for them Is there the option for the alarm to bleep on locking?

I have it in my van and it's great, yes drive away locking, very good so car jackings can't occur. Also for my van anyway I have to unlock back doors so no kit can be nicked at lights etc which occurs with pikeys around
