personally i don't care, it can pull a horse box with my two ponies, it can traverse my paddock without getting stuck and its bloody warm and comfy. if i wanted to plough my paddock i'd have got a tractor,(defender) lol freelander for comfort and practicality defender for proper off road lol

Ah you bought a tractor without a decent heater. We got poor man's range rovers with our heated leather, oh and the heaters mighty fine as well.

well, since collecting my truck and driving it home i have done the following, replaced all four road tyress (70+mph serious vibration) now sorted. replaced clock light, (so annoying when not working) replaced dash bulbs with led replaced sidelight/side indicators/rear number plate/interior...

even if glow plugs are knackered three of four turns of ignition on and off letting light go out everytime should make it start easier, and glow plugs not to bad a job, even if you snap one as i did!!!

i've only had my td4 3 weeks friday, and been keeping close eye on the fuel economy. i mainly do small 1/2 mile, couple mile journeys, but often trek out of the sticks into the bigger world and go into town. been reading and back, 50ish miles each way, and drove home 90 miles when i got it...

same disco 3 as above but with manual is 24/34 around town drops, but overall max figure is up by 2mpg to 34 think autos are better suited to town driving really, we've had several autos and they are nice to drive, but now and then.
