my new p38 HSE is sick already......!

You may also need to look at the fuel rails... I won't give you stick, cos I got the full monty Faultmate from BBS and also think it is a great bit of kit... BTW did you clear the faults to see if they came back?

    will a P38 4.6 HSE gearbox fit a P38 DSE??

Can she afford the fuel? Stoopid question, she will be just like mine - I have to fuel both Landrovers

1996 P38 DIY Service After Import

If you have an import, you may want to invest in a Faultmate, so that you can alter the settings for lights, windows etc. to suit St Lucia (and your) requirements. Plus I am sure you will need it for diagnostics in the future....

LPG control switch - 4 flashing greens

You cannot over fill the tank, so do not worry about that, as for assuming the LEDs show quarter, half etc. it does not work like a liquid fuel tank, as it works on pressure you will probably find that by the time you get to one LED showing you are almost empty... LOL At least that is what it...

range rover water leak near side front

The drain pipes for the air con are clear (watched the guys clear the blocked on on the lift, covered both of them with a couple of pints of dirty water):D:D:D The water seems to be coming in underneath the offside fan unit, which lead me to believe it was the pollen filter cover, but have...

range rover water leak near side front

Got into my P38 4.6 HSE this morning, raining all night, LH footwell full of water... Have replaced the pollen filters with new covers (I like to splash out - pun intended) - also know it is not condensate because I fixed that last week. So where do I try next?

    Range Rover Tyres

The Rims are your issue here - 20" are great for cruising around town but what you need in mud is a high profile, that is why I have kept the 16" rims on mine - I just need some advice on the best tyre for field/road use.

am i to stupid to own a p39?

    It's a very rare car, a P38 without faults :D:D

am i to stupid to own a p39?

I doubt that you are in trouble - but it seems like there could be an issue with the transfer box electrics - this can be as simple as a bad earth - take it back and explain that you now have this fault showing since the garage had the car and can they clear it.

    dead battery?

Good job - took me two hours to do mine on a lift :(

    I'm Back, More Help!!

Check out the offer on here for the FCR (from BlackBoxSolutions) - that will read and clear faults - there is no 'cable' option for a Landrover - if you have a lot of work to do it may be better to invest in the full Faultmate from BBS to do proper adjustments and diagnostics.

OK - I have no clue about Classics, but I still recommend downloading RAVE and reading their instructions..

    Air Suspension Inactive

Cool - at least you are sorted - think the bags on a L322 are a tad more expensive than the P38, but you will be driving her again soon - plus re-setting the EAS would not have helped with a major leak like that...

    Abs... bleeding thing!!!

It would help to know what car you have, model/year and perhaps a location.. I assume it is a P38 as you mention a shere thingy - that is a sealed unit always under pressure until it leaks out, then you have toreplace it. Forget the Hayns and download Rave from green-oval.com and use that...

    millage correction?????

Maybe I am wierd, but once you get over 150k, I want to see if I can get the car to 250k... My last high milage car was an Astra I had had from new and got her up to 140k before she was written off in a snow storm in wales - I was gutted - as she was mint until then. My brother was even...
