This is the crane I used but I did pull the rad as I was fitting a new one but much easier with rad and front panel out of the way

Removed the o/s/r spare wheel carrier bracket which revealed a big hole in the o/s corner cap. So having more time than money I made up and welded in a new section so looks like it’s definitely a paint job now

Galv would look good but I'd have to replace them all and didn't realise how much they cost

Found myself with plenty of time on my hands so after various chassis repairs I’m starting on the body, removed the corner piece, de-rusted it and the ally painted and refitted. Question is should I keep the caps and corners body colour or go for black or white or whatever. Suggestions welcome

quick update, finally got it done definitely a fair old job but plodded on and got it finished

I’ve got no problem getting the 90 nice and high, will put some big stands under the chassis. I was thinking of cutting out some of the footwell for hopefully better access, do you think that will be enough [/GALLERY]

That's good to know as would prefer to fit it complete

Do you fit the complete outrigger when you do them or chop them up, I would ideally like to fit it complete but not sure if I will have enough room to fully weld it

I also need to do some work on the bulkhead as well so might take the complete wing off and floors out to see how much room I have then decide

Another job I've been putting off for a couple of years or so is to replace the outrigger,I'm thinking of a cheapo £170 pilot arc plasma cutter, watched lots of reviews and on the whole seem to work ok for my limited use. Reason is all the info I can find on outrigger replacement says doing it...

Just done that this morning except I also removed the wiper arms and pulled the rack out,cleaned greased and refitted it. When the weather warms up a bit I will probably rip the whole lot out and replace with new but at least I have one speed working and they are parking which was bugging the...
