On the shopping front.... Go with a budget and a specific list!! There will always be something you see off it but it helps to know what you want first and budget for it to get the best price!!

Buy cheaper on the net possibly but wait for the show and haggle a top quality bargain from manufacturers!!

So, I've had my Disco 3 years - serviced it my self (apart from big things when time didn't allow)... Green laned it, broke it, fixed it, broke something else.... Its had new radiator water pump thermostat head etc last winter... Yet there were still a few niggles that bothered me!! This week...

Just a thought... before i head to the scrappy.... Im guessing one of my UJ's failed on my front prop this week, after only approx 6 months after being replaced... I lost half the front prop on the M6 and got home with a rear wheel disco... Does anyone have a spare close to...

At least you still got 2 propshafts....

I would but broke my front prop so currently got a rear wheel drive disco till I can get to a scrappy!! Would go as a passenger if Arlesey is on anyones way....

There are plenty!!! Nothing to punishing but a few to have a go at. Im back in Shropshire from June but having to sell my Landy but hopefully wont be long till i get another!! I'll come out and tag along with you one day...

Agreed they should be spending more money on actual roads.... but id rather they look after lanes than close them.... what's the point in having lanes if they're just closed to 4x4's??... None... so let them look after them as they should... gravel is only a temporary fix and wont last.... plus...

Boring lanes are better than no lanes... At least spending money on all the work means they won't be closing them (hopefully) any time soon, SCC are quite good compared to some councils I've come across...

Its a lane out of Widdington Village. With the pub on your left its off a small road shortly after on your left and runs past fields and a stream... I don't have the Grid Refs to hand although they should be etched on my mind as I was stuck there for over 60 hours...
